MAC B DESIGNS, Principal, Andrew McIntyre, Leadership in
Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional, (LEED AP),
began his career as a home & furniture designer in 1993. After
graduating from the College of Charleston, he moved to San Francisco
where he created Mac B Designs, a successful award winning furniture
design company. Most notably, Mac B Designs was named “Top 100
furniture Designers in California”. He has worked with several high
profile clients including Pottery Barn and Max Designs.
During the mid 90’s, Andrew had the opportunity to work on a major
housing renovation project and turned his attention from furniture
design to residential design and construction.
Today, through 15+ years of experience in the sustainability design
field, Mac B Designs has grown into a company that offers diversified
services to assist builders, developers, and home owners to complete
projects in an efficient and timely manner. Projects range from all
over the Charleston area, most notably, I'On development and Daniel
Island. Mac B designs is also pushing forward to include LEED
certification "Green Building Concepts" in all it's design practices both
commercial and residential.
